Your data never leaves your browser
No accounts, no server, no shared catalog. Lattice is a static page: every subject you type in is stored on your own device, and every timetable is generated there too.
Where it's stored
- Subjects you add live in your browser's IndexedDB, on this device only.
- Nothing is uploaded, synced, or backed up anywhere. There's nowhere to send it.
- Clearing your browser's site data for Lattice deletes everything you've entered.
- A different browser or device starts empty — your data doesn't follow you.
How data gets in
- Add a subject with its code, name, and type (theory, lab, or both).
- Paste its options straight from VTOP, a spreadsheet or a CSV — rows with
teacher, venue, slot, in any column order. - The full engine runs on whatever you enter: generation, gap-score ranking, session preferences, all of it.
